Housewife Dreams.

It’s 10:30am and I realize I’ve forgotten to do the hemo hotsheet and I freak out. 

Dream One:
My apartment has two layers of walls, except the second layer are removable and not as sturdy as real walls. It rains and the second layer of walls starts shrinking and I call my landlord to ask him to help fix it. I go out for a bit and come back and everything’s back to normal.

Dream Two:
JM moves to NY and she lives in a building with a shared kitchen and some cute guy comes down and is making a gourmet meal. She tells me how she’s trying to learn how to cook so she’s been just putting eggs in everything. She holds up a big plastic container filled with spaghetti and sauce and then layered with half-cooked eggs on top. She tells me she’s really craving bubble tea so I tell her we should go to Chinatown sometime and get some.  

Work work work.

A dream within a dream.

I’m at work with the AC who trained me on routing. We’re supposed to go over archiving but she tells me our training session is going to cover French instead.

I’m in a class taught by Ted from HIMYM. EH is with me and apparently we’re part of The Gang and regularly hang out with Ted and the other four. He mentions something in class about being married before and EH and I giggle and snicker and make jokes in the back of class because we know him and we can’t believe it. 

I’m at some sort of retreat with my old super-religious roommate and we’re supposed to do some performance thing. I’m changing and she leaves and then I can’t decide what to wear and end up missing the performance.

Later, it’s time to go and my mother appears with us and I’m wearing a tank top. We’re going up stairs and I cut in front of her and she sees the tattoo on my back and starts yelling at me. 

Dream One:
My boss is that stuffy guy from the Pirates movies and I’m running around doing a bunch of things for him and he’s surprisingly nice about it.

Dream Two:
I’m in my apartment but it looks like home and I go into the kitchen. For some reason, my comforter is draped over the fridge like a makeshift tent and I hear little critters underneath. There’s a hole in my comforter and a little white mouse peeks its head through. I peel off the comforter and there are two mice sitting on top of the fridge. They aren’t scared of me so I pick them up in my hands and throw them out the window. I go into my bedroom, which looks like the guest room back home and under the end table there are three other mice, little brown ones. An orange, long-haired cat is playing with them. I pick up the three mice and one of them bites me on the finger. I hold them out to the cat and it licks one of the mice. Then, they all jump from my arms at the same time and I wake up.

Dream Three:
I’m on some sort of mission with the skinny nerdy dude from Criminal Minds. We’re dealing with robbers or something and we run to this house and hide under the bushes. The robbers leave the house and we go inside and set up a crime scene. I’m working the scene alone and then leave and go to a college building. Skinny nerdy dude is there and he’s in some sort of an argument with a professor or something. I go up to him afterwards and he’s quiet and unhappy but he puts his arm around me and we leave.

I’m on a camping trip with a big group and for each meal, a delivery guy comes by with a big cardboard box of food, which the trip organizers then cook for us. It starts raining and snowing and the delivery guy misses the dinner delivery. The trip organizers start panicking because the weather keeps getting worse. 

I’m in China but I’m trying to get out, just like everyone else in the country. There are big trains filled with people trying to leave and I’m with two other girls and we’re all trying to buy tickets. They get tickets but I only have USD, not yen, so I’m freaking out trying to get money. I run around trying to find a currency exchange but every place closes at 5.

I go back to the train station and ask the teller if she knows where I can find a currency exchange. She points to a brown paper big sitting on the table and I open it. It’s full of money and I almost cry from relief. I take the money and buy a ticket.
